St. Denis Christian Service Ministry is a volunteer group of lay men and women called to outreach to our parish community with the love of Jesus Christ to offer compassion and practical assistance whenever there is a need. We are committed to serving individuals and families in our parish community and surrounding area (without regards to race, ethnicity, gender or religious beliefs) facing temporary difficulties by providing emergency assistance in the form of non-perishable food, utilities assistance, temporary shelter and offering referral to those needing long-term assistance when available. ALL MATTERS ARE HELD IN STRICT CONFIDENCE.

Our Ministry’s activities include:- Feeding the Homeless at Hope for Home Shelter in Pomona
- Easter Baskets and Back to School Supplies for Catholic Charities ~ San Juan Diego Center
- Homeless Mothers’ Project - provide daily products for healthy living
- Military Care Packages (for dedicated men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan)
- Thanksgiving Baskets
- Christmas Baskets (Toy Drive)
- Adopt-A-Family Programs
- Summer Kids’ Bag program (for weekends) for families in need (WVUSD students)
- and other activities as need arises.
- Parish-wide participation with Get On The Bus Program (reuniting children with mothers and fathers who are incarcerated)
