Stewardship

What is Stewardship?

Christian Stewardship is a way of life that recognizes that all we are and all we have are gifts from our loving God. Our lives, faith, loved ones, talents, financial resources, and the earth in which we live are gifts entrusted to us to share in justice and love.

A Christian Steward is one who:

• Receives God's gifts gratefully

• Cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner.

• Shares them in justice and love with others

• Returns them with increase to the Lord.

What gifts have I been given by God?

Are my gifts of time, talent, and treasure a just and loving reflection of the gifts God has given to me?
