Our Vision

Our Parish Mission Statement constantly calls us to respond to our growing needs. Our current hall has served us well over the past 38 years, first as a place of worship and now as host to our meetings, functions, and programs. It is a legacy left to us from the hard work of our parishioners of the past.

Our parish has grown over these years and so have our needs. The current hall is unable to accommodate all of the programs and services we must offer in order to fulfill our Mission Statement. We are faced with limited space for: ministries; the Confirmation program; Lifelong Faith Formation; our youth; religious education and faith formation; storage; evangelization, adult education, and bible study; community outreach; and, parish functions and events.

The Building on Faith Campaign is an extraordinary undertaking in response to our many needs. This $5.5 million capital campaign will fund the design, construction and furnishing of a new Parish Center and Hall. These new facilities will help us fulfill our Mission Statement and leave a lasting legacy for generations of St. Denis parishioners.

Our new facility will serve as a vibrant center of our parish life. With approximately 20,000 square feet of space, it will meet our current needs and provide the space necessary to increase our programs.

CLASSROOMS

New classrooms will meet the needs of our thriving Religious Education/Faith Formation program, as well as provide space for adult classes. We currently have limited classroom space, and our children meet in makeshift classrooms.

YOUTH MINISTRY ROOM

The Youth Ministry Room will provide our youth with a place to call their own, where they can come after school or for programs and fellowship. It will be a vibrant place for the future of our Church as they grow in their faith.

MEETING ROOMS

New meeting rooms will provide space for our ministries, programs and organizations, and allow for sequential meeting times.

NEW HALL

The new hall will be larger and will be equipped with the latest in multimedia technology. A spacious kitchen and pantry will be available for our functions and events. The hall will be divisible into smaller spaces with soundproof room dividers and will include risers to create a stage.

OFFICE SPACE

Dedicated and modular office space will be a valuable asset for the leaders of our programs and ministries, as well as volunteers. Cubicle space will be adaptable to changing space needs.

CHRISTIAN OUTREACH

Christian Outreach is an important part of our mission at St. Denis. However, that program currently operates from a small storage space in the church. A dedicated outreach space will provide food, clothing, and supplies to those in need.

LIBRARY

A library will provide space for books, publications, DVDs, audio CDs, and more, that can be loaned to parishioners for home study. This is an important part of faith formation and evangelization as parishioners are provided the opportunity to reflect and study at home.

RELIGIOUS ARTICLES STORE

We have long needed a religious articles store to serve both our parish and community and thereby respond to that great need. This store will provide religious reading material, sacramental and devotional items. It will also serve as a revenue source for the parish.

REFLECTION ROOM

A Reflection Room will provide space for quiet meditation and prayer. It will also be used for masses for youth or other programs as needed.

STORAGE

The new Parish Center will have dedicated storage spaces for the parish and its various programs. Storage is currently spread throughout the church property and is greatly needed by all.

EXPANDED SPACE

The proposed Parish Center will more than double our existing capacity with approximately 20,000 sf. of usable and appropriate space. The facility will include at least two floors, thereby maximizing our available space on the property.

ACCESSIBILITY

The new Parish Center will be accessible to all so that everyone may participate in our programs and ministries. It will include an elevator and will provide appropriate ground-level accessibility.
