Testimonials

St. Denis is a faith filled Catholic Community made up of more than 6,000 parish households. Our parish family consists of children, youth, young adults, parents, grandparents, singles, and seniors. Below, some of our fellow parishioners have shared some of their special memories of St. Denis and why they support the Building on Faith Campaign.

We support the Building on Faith campaign because God called us and we answered. So many times we have called on God and He has answered us. The facility is almost 40 years old and has served its purpose. To fulfill the current needs of God's community, we need a new Parish Center and Hall.

We've been parishioners for 15 years and we acknowledge our responsibility to build for the future of the St. Denis community. It is indeed a sacrifice we make to pledge our time and donations during a weathered economy. But it is this same sacrifice that will help us grow in our trust of the Lord. We have hundreds of families and individuals, younger and older alike, that partake in the services of our many ministries. These brothers and sisters in Christ will benefit from the new facility.

As a community, our sacrifice will reap great harvests of faith for us and generations to come.

St. Denis Catholic Community has given so much to us during the 23 years we have been in the parish.

Our parish is now more than five times larger than when the hall was built nearly 40 years ago, and we have outgrown the facility.

Our parish offers many programs for us but there is not enough space to accommodate the need. Parishioners of all generations will benefit from a new Parish Center and Hall. Our youth especially will benefit from new classroom facilities where they can concentrate on their studies and learn about our rich faith.

We have a very strong youth ministry program at St. Denis but we are limited by the space available for our activities. Many active young people are anxious to participate but too often we are unable to host events because we do not have a dedicated youth ministry room, or because we will interfere with other programs going on at the same time.

We are the next generation of St. Denis parishioners and as we grow in our Catholic faith we need a place that draws us to church. New classroom space will provide for our religious education and a youth ministry room will provide a safe environment where we can be together.

The Building on Faith Campaign will provide a place we can call our own - a place that feels like home, where we can gather with friends in fellowship.

I have always wanted a place for my three teenaged children to go after school to study, interact and socialize with other Catholic children in a safe, positive and spiritual environment.

Through the Building on Faith Campaign we have the opportunity to build a Parish Center that will provide that environment.
